Once in a great while, perhaps less than a few times in a lifespan, wind, clouds and light blend to achieve a form so stunning that all else but the Creator is forgotten in the moment. Such was the fullness of the event as this supercell levitated over the land, bathed from all sides in muted pastels refracted through tens of thousands of feet of cloud material, rain and hail. Every nickel and minute spent on the road that season was worth this experience alone.
