Late Rainbow
The rain-softened hues of a setting sun framed themselves uncannily inside this rainbow. Surrounded by the faint secondary bow (upper right), the scene took on a flavorful effect when viewed with the eyes, as if the eastern sky were a giant colored band shell, or part of an ice cream tub tipped on its side and splashed with the pastels of mixed sherbet.
