Sunset Gust Front with Carhenge

A delightfully colored mix of scud clouds and convective turrets rose along the outflow boundary from a supercell that dissipated near Nebraska's iconic Carhenge monument. For many years, I had wanted to shoot Carhenge as the foreground for deeply convective or sunset skies, and this day provided the ideal opportunity for both.
