We had pure family fun here, stopping for a spell for Elke and I to immerse in the sunset with eyes and film and each other's presence, while the kids kept themselves busy "building a dam" across a shallow arroyo. Multiple levels of clouds lent depth and texture to a sky appropriate to the English translation of "colorado" -- colored, and in this case, quite deeply so indeed. The lowest clouds are the same ones filling the top of the view several minutes before in "3 peaks." The differences look large but really were minor: switching from a 400 mm zoom to a 24 mm wide angle lens and waiting about 5 minutes!
Cedar Point CO (10 Jul 4), looking WNW.
