Sticknet in the Inflow
During the V.O.R.T.EX.-2 field project, a "Sticknet" probe samples the inflow of a supercell in the beautiful rolling plains of the Nebraska Panhandle. Even though the storm was moving gradually into a more stable air mass, it continued to offer a shallow wall cloud and intermittent occlusions for about an hour after it clearly lost any significant tornado potential.
