Ohanapecosh, My Gosh
Fast-moving floodwaters, fed both by the melting of Mt. Rainier's record-heavy snows and ongoing rainfall, made the Ohanapecosh River roar through its canyon with a booming vibration both heard and felt. This short time exposure was shot in overcast and rainy conditions. That helped photography by allowing both a rich, natural color saturation and good diffusion of light through an otherwise dimly illuminated area under the rainforest canopy.
