Contoured Snowfield
Only a few feet away from where a roaring blizzard raged the day before, wind-carved contours delineated dropoffs from one little snow platform to another, early morning shadows accentuating elevation changes measured in fractions of an inch. The image below is a separately shot zoom of the barchan edge casting the largest shadow in the photo at left.
