Flooded Farm Field
Farm fields underwater on the W side of U.S. 71, Here, U.S. 71 in NW Missouri looks amazingly similar to U.S. 1 in the mangrove swamps north of Key Largo FL. Aside from immediate drowning of crops, agricultural flooding may leave hazardous pollution, sewage, dead animals and other biohazards, large debris, and excessive sand in fields upon its subsidence. Numerous flooded fields across Missouri were lost to deep sand deposits.
