Sunlight reflecting off waves is no novel phenomenon, for sure. I could shoot something similar (but never precisely the same) anywhere with a body of water, sunshine and a breeze. But it is a scene seldom photographed in its own right, and even more seldom appreciated, commonplace yet complex, and always changing. In every photographer there also is a small dose of satisfaction or fulfillment in knowing, then and there, that no perfectly matching photograph ever can be taken again.
