Flooded Understory
Under the dense cover of the Olympic Mountains rain forest, a flooded flatland in the Hoh River basin shimmers green with sunlight filtered through the canopy. We were fortunate to experience several days of sun in a dry spell in a wet place, with ideal conditions for hiking and exploration.
