Wind Farm Tornado: Another Direct Hit
[Part 5 of 5] The main condensation cone swirled right across another turbine, once again leaving no readily apparent damage behind. Mercifully, the atmosphere's abuse of the wind farm would end within another couple of minutes. After this shot, a precipitation-laden surge of the rear-flank downdraft began to plow into the tornado from its SW (right rear), shoving the entire circulation off the wind farm and ultimately dispersing it. The amazing adventure only was beginning, too; I saw three more tornadoes from this storm northward to the Ft. Cobb area.
