OKLAHOMA ICE AND SNOW (2010)

Following the Christmas Eve blizzard of 2009, the winter didn't let up for residents of the Sooner State. An ice storm on 29 January, topped with snow, left behind both costly damage and a winter wonderland. The persistent and unrelenting cloudiness, for many days afterward, just served to add a somber mood to the scenes. Elke and I took to the road, chronicling the aftermath through photography.
