As we've traveled this land and others in search of amazing moments and scenes, Elke and I both have been shooting almost exclusively digital since 2005, she a little before that, all on Canon DSLR equipment. Some of the trips were planned and timed for photography, such as those to the Pacific Northwest and Lake Superior; some were side excursions on personal time during business trips (e.g., Everglades); and others were spontaneous products of fortuitous opportunity, like the Bighorns images and Lake Texoma Floods. Some galleries (National Weather Center, Abandoned Structures of the Great Plains) cover multiple years and will keep on growing. Others still are being prepared. So...
