On the High Plains, no two stormy skies ever look identical. This supercell, evolving into a merger with nearby storms, was among the most peculiar and spectacular I've seen. Its base appeared carved with a sculptor's knife into branches and framed by slivers of the turquoise tone so often found in deep thunderstorms.
