It was high amperage on the High Plains a few minutes before sunset, when a sparky little left-moving supercell crossed the Colorado-Wyoming border. Every strike from every storm is a unique event, never again to be duplicated. Moments like this, fleeting but indelible, are why we trek thousands of miles, year after year, to experience the resplendence of the tumultuous sky.
