Raindrops on Beach Pebbles

The very start of a light rain shower speckles an assortment of beach stones with true "watercolor". Even in an area justifiably renowned for spectacular landscapes and waterscapes -- the Washington coast, and nearby inland sections of Olympic National Park -- sometimes wonderful but transient scenes can be missed if we don't look down.
