Evening Wildflowers in the Bighorns

With a slate sky all around, diffused spotlighting arose upon a carpet of Wyoming mountain wildflowers. The newfound thinness in the overhead clouds seemed like a wondrous window opened to let the twilight shine just upon our surroundings, a fleeting morsel of unusual illumination delivered to eyeballs and camera lenses, before the ground and sky again darkened.
