Another Texas springtime found the rolling hills and lakeshores carpeted in lush profusions of wildflowers -- here mainly Indian paintbrushes and the Texas state flower: bluebonnets. This seemingly is a foreign concept during this cold and dry time of year. Nevertheless, soon the landscape again will sprout green and push up another many millions of flowers for the enjoyment of insects and people alike.
